Reasons to monitor your child's online activity
There are many reasons as to why adults and other loved ones should monitor children's online activity. A couple things to look out for on the internet are cyber bullying, sexting, and online predators to name a few. I'm sure almost everyone has seen or heard about cyber bullying. It is a very serious topic since sometimes the ones being bullied could lead to harming themselves. These topics should not be taken lightly since they can happen to anyone. A lot of times children who experience these issues don't come forward for an adult help. Sexting is another issue, there are teens who think it's fun to send inappropriate pictures of themselves or they help send around someone else's picture because they think it's cool and funny and they don't realize what they're doing is actually hurting people. 
Online predators can be tricky at times to watch out for even if your child is say playing online games that you approve of. There are online predators that try to portray themselves as a child while playing games that you can interact with other people in. They will try to become friends with children and try and use them for information or other things. These reasons are just some on why adults need to monitor frequently.
