✔️ Engagement: This app is a very eye catching and is easy to start up.
✔️ Developmental appropriateness: It has cute characters that students like. It doesn't require students to remember passwords they simply click the class and their name. The app is designed to help students with phonological awareness and applying those skills to reading and writing.
✔️ Instructional Design: I wanted to find a fun way for students to complete word work activities and practice their sounds. This app accomplishes that and more. It provides me with valuable assessment information based on how students are doing while going through the lessons so I can use that information to plan mini-lessons.
✔️ Motivation: This app is game based and students earn points for different things the more they use it and finish lessons.
✔️ Accessibility: The app is intended for elementary students.
