National Center for Healthy Housing

The National Center for Healthy Housing (NCHH) hosted its second National Healthy Homes Month-themed Twitter chat (#NHHMchat) on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, to exchange ideas, spread awareness, and take action on home hazard prevention and the implementation of effective healthy homes policies. This chat recaps and collects all of the great healthy homes learning opportunities and resources shared throughout the month of June. The #NHHMchat aims to accomplish the following: (1) Raise awareness of the importance of home assessments and their impact on health; (2) discuss available resources for local government, communities, property owners, and residents; and (3) encourage strategic partnerships, regulatory action, and policies that promote healthy homes and lead poisoning prevention.
