CODING FOR EVERYONE
Empower  young women and minorities with coding skills. Coding is inclusive and democratizing.
Libraries are the perfect space to teach coding as libraries strive to be a safe space for all students regardless of gender, ethnicity, or skill level. 
Librarians already understand many of the skills needed to learn computer skills, even if we are not digital experts. 
Coding in the library opens opportunities for students who may not otherwise have been exposed to a computer science education. 
Gives career and LIFE opportunities to students from a diverse background, especially those who are not in well ranked school districts. 
Provide inspiration for all students that coders and computer programmers are DIVERSE. ANYONE can code. Show them examples of people from different backgrounds who code.
