However, the biggest advantage of Font Thing is that it allows a multi-window font management which enables users to compare fonts in a more direct manner. You can notice all the small differences without having to get lost in rows of folders in the taskbar.

Portable The Font Thing is best when used with a large database of custom fonts while working in typography with creative professionals handling that database. When fonts are concerned Portable The Font Thing does its job right.
Most of it does the job, but there are a few places where the app can be made better.
First, there is a very poor Windows selection in Settings.  The bulk of the options are for printers, OCR, etc. If you are using this application for the small things, it is not the best idea.  I find it more cumbersome than it needs to be.
Second, the Small (and indeed Large) Font selections are not the best.  While it does the job
