Cancel Culture isn't what you think

Complaints abound regarding people getting "cancelled" when what's usually happening is criticism. Consequences. That also happens to be part of free speech. What people don't care about is the people we lose from the public eye or just from their everyday work due to bullying, harassment and assaults and the victim being forced out while perpetrators are protected. We don't hear about them nearly as much, and that's the real problem. Not powerful people who want to see an end to consequences to their acts.
