I've just upgraded to ver 6.5 and I was wondering if it was possible to delete the default timestamp from a table, then re-create it with the old timestamp value.
When I search for a job or add an employee, the default timestamps are created but I want to delete them. How can this be done?

I just tried it out. To delete the default timestamp, you just have to delete the column of the table.
If you want to delete an entry that doesn't have a timestamp in the first column, it must be a new entry and is so automatically.
To remove the default timestamp, in table settings change the Default Date and time column from int(11) to varchar(30) and remove the default from the front.

The table's timestamp has got a pointer to the column and is there for all entries. There must be a column which contains the timestamp value, then there is a pointer.
The timestamp value is used to determine whether an entry is old or new, not just for the default.
