👩🏻‍🏫HELLO! My Wakelet Community Leader Application Introduction
My name is Karin Ledford and I'm a teacher librarian in the Elk Grove Unified School District. I've been in education for 21 years first as an English teacher and the past 15 years as a librarian. It is a dream job! EdTech is a passion of mine and as a Google Certified Educator Level 1 and 2 and a Google Certified Trainer, I am committed to providing relevant professional development to my site and district showing ways in which technology can transform education delivery. I follow the SAMR model of technology integration in my professional development and recognize that everyone comes to it with their own level of comfort. 
Wakelet is the resource I was looking for! It was like the resource I didn't know I needed as much as it turned out I did! It not only fills in the gaps with the curation part of my job, but it also drives my daily work flow. I'm excited to share how this resource can improve and streamline the teacher experience. And finally, I'm very excited to see students creating, using, and sharing their own Wakelet collections.
