The exG2antt component is a Grid component capable of displaying information in hierarchical fashion. Its hierarchical structure is created using a TreeView component, but using a hierarchical GridView. Every level of the hierarchy represents one container. For every container we can add child containers. To a container can be added child containers, child container, child container and so on.
User can add child containers to a container, their quantity (columns/rows) and he can drag and drop child containers to reorder them in the data structure. The exG2antt component has got several Gantt charts, each one is a tree grid chart based on the exTreeView component. Every chart represents a container and can be collapsed/expanded/reordered as the GridView. Users can add an own Gantt chart for a container, if he wants.
The exG2antt component was implemented as a dependency of the exGrid component. It has got 2 Gantt charts, which can be selected using the exGanttComponent.selectedGanttChart(GanttChartType type) method. The first chart is a grid Gantt chart and the second one is a tree grid Gantt chart. The tree grid Gantt chart is based on the exTreeView component.
The exG2antt grid holds a list of containers for each chart. It keeps all the containers as grids with columns and rows. For every container the exG2antt component knows its place at the hierarchy (to the parent container), the quantity (columns/rows) of the containers and the total time consumed by containers. It can also display the containers in individual Gantt charts.
To display the containers in a Gantt chart the exG2antt component makes use of the exTreeView component and calls the exGanttComponent.addChildren(Container container) method.
Using the exGanttComponent.onContainerLoaded() method it is possible to load the children of a container and to add them to the exG2antt component.
For every container (container in the exGanttComponent) the exG2antt component has got a quantity, which can be set through the setContainerQuantity(int qty) method.
For a single container you can implement an own Gantt chart, which will be added to the exG2antt component via the exGanttComponent.addG

One glance at eXG2antt shows the graphically pleasing interface of the exGrid while the exGantt gives a bird’s eye view of the project schedule. Once created, a project/sequence can be modified as the schedule changes. The graphically rich components of exGrid are combined with the detailed project schedule functions of exGantt, in a single component.
While exGrid is a component, exGantt is a component that embeds multiple exGrid columns. The exGrid columns can be “unwrapped” and the task elements displayed inline. An exGantt displays multiple project schedule elements (for example, boxes to denote tasks or regions to denote activities) in a single row of a “table”.

The component can be embedded in a set of reusable tags using the following style parameters:
lines - specifies the style of the border of each line that will be drawn. It accepts three values: solid, dashed and dotted, and you can combine them.
outline - specifies the style of the outline of each line that will be drawn. It accepts three values: solid, dashed and dotted, and you can combine them.
background - specifies the style of the background. It accepts three values: transparent, solid and none.
theme - it is an icon to set the color of each button. You can do it for grid columns, project schedule columns, and any other elements. The available values are:
