They are all unique and have their own story to tell. The rich art style and dynamic animations fit the universe perfectly. You can encounter other aliens in combat. Battles are fluid, and leaders shout commands at their commanding officers. The level of detail is truly amazing. Each unit has a health bar and unique profession. And when they're defeated, they explode in a fiery burst of debris. 
●Master The Unique System - Play Solo, Local or Global Multiplayer
Planetfall features four different game modes to play solo, local or global multiplayer. If you don't have friends to play with, you can play online against other players in free-for-all, team and capture-the-flag multiplayer.
A rogue alliance of insectoid hunter-gangs detonate planet-shattering weapons throughout the Universe of Planetfall, annihilating humans and aliens alike. The human Federation has only a handful of heavily-fortified outposts left to protect, but only one is fit to stand the unmerciful onslaught. Your mission? Is this game any good? I don't know. I haven't played it. It's my first impression from this trailer and this is why:Tiny soldiers? Retarded. Expensive squadrons? Too expensive. Stupid outposts? And they are dumb as bricks.
Just as a matter of interest, I played through the Kickstarter demo and the game is very enjoyable. The base game has been made longer, but the units and unique tech are better. Visually it looks very good, and the controls are good. The Players
Enter a universe where ancient powers were put to use to conquer and exterminate planet after planet, creating a vast galactic empire. After a storm drains them all, and the humans are all but extinct, the Sha is called upon to declare war against their enemies, the humans. Conquest over the rebels is the goal of the Sha and a natural choice, for how could the Sha turn down this opportunity? But to the Sha, the use of steel is not justified.
The Nations
The Center of the Sha's Galaxy is the emperor's palace of the ancient powers. But over the millennia, the Sha have become increasingly fragmented into so many small, untrusting factions. With a large empire comes a need for many leaders, and in the meantime, an empire is at war with an entire galaxy, after all. To maintain control of the Sha, they must divide and conquer. And so the Sha have embraced the rich worlds they have won, sown their seeds, and soon, the Sha will become a race of insectoid aliens and their "insects" rule the Earth.The Stars
The Sha have already claimed 7,000 planets, with many more left to claim. And they will continue to claim. But when they do, they will do so as a force of nature, using their technology to devour planets. Some planets have great potential, and the Sha have a way of utilizing them. Some planets will be inhabited by the Sha's insect followers, and others, no matter how poor, will remain the domain of the center of their galaxy for the time being.The Money
