Additionally, these demographic results are linked to economic factors like poverty and inequality. There are many problems faced by sex workers during this pandemic. Some sex workers are homeless while others are addicted to narcotics. Some sex workers are illegal migrants living with no status who face a great challenge in accessing basic healthcare services and have limited to no financial relief options, which rapidly increases their vulnerability towards health and results in long-lasting negative economic impacts (Jakab Z., 2020).
