In a new sequence of events, Tanvi finds Sunil on a bridge hanging from a parapet in a state of trauma and heartrending. After Tanvi calms Sunil down and brings him home, they try to carry on with their lives, but not without difficulty. Kumar calls Tanvi to inform her that he has hired an astrologer to find the whereabouts of Sakshi. Tanvi and Kumar try to find Sakshi and succeed, but it turns out that she has died of shock and is found lying in front of Kumar's house, while Kumar is with Sakshi's mother. Kumar carries on with the preparations for his marriage, and invites all the relatives of both families. Tania and Sakshi's mother do not get along, and have a conflict of interests regarding the wedding. Kumar reveals to Tania and Sakshi's mother that the marriage will not take place. Tania and Sakshi's mother then leave the house, and Tanvi and Sunil find themselves facing an empty house. Sunil then develops a sudden aversion to Tanvi. As Tanvi tries to reason with Sunil, Sunil becomes physically abusive towards her. Sunil becomes so aggressive and violent towards Tanvi that Kumar and Sakshi's mother are forced to intervene. Kumar and Sakshi's mother apologise to Tanvi, and then try to leave the house, but an angry Sunil attempts to prevent them from leaving. After Kumar and Sakshi's mother leave, Sunil declares to Tanvi that he will marry her. Tanvi and Sunil make love for the first time in Kumar's house. Sunil sends a letter to Tania and Sakshi's mother saying that he will marry Tanvi and will spare Sakshi's life. Sakshi's mother then sends a letter to Tania, which basically conveys her displeasure towards Tania's decision of giving up Sakshi. Tania confronts Sakshi's mother, but when Sakshi's mother does not listen, Tania threatens her. Sakshi's mother apologises to Tania, and then agrees to the wedding of Sunil and Tanvi. Sunil then calls Sakshi to tell her that he will marry Tanvi and will spare her life.
