해를 품은 달 (Moon Embracing the Sun)
This is one of those K-dramas that everyone says you should watch. I wouldn't say it is one of the best dramas I have ever watched. Quite frankly, I didn't really like 한가인 (Han Ga In) who played 허연우 (Heo Yeon Woo) as an adult. But 김수현 (Kim Soo Hyun) is a well-known Korean actor. So I thought I would give it a watch. It is an older drama. So you have to keep in mind that the camera quality will not be brilliant. But, nevertheless, there are some pretty good visual effects and camera work.
The plot is long and there are a lot of characters. But this is an overview trying to avoid huge spoilers. A shaman, 아리 (Ari), is told that an unborn daughter has "noble fate" is told to protect her. But she was declared guilty of treason and was killed but told another shaman, 녹영 (Nok Yeong), played by 전미선 (Jeon Mi Sun) to look after her instead. 
Later, the unborn daughter, 허연우 (Heo Yeon Woo), played by 김유정 (Kim Yoo Jung), and the prince, played by 여진구 (Yeo Jin Goo) fall in love as children. The prince's half-brother, 양명군 (Prince Yang Myung), played by 이태리 (Lee Tae Ri) also falls in love with her too. As a princess is needed for the prince, noble girls are picked for the selection. The king liked 허연우 (Heo Yeon Woo) but the queen wanted her own blood line, 윤보경 (Yoon Bo-Kyung), played by 김수현 (Kim So Hyun), to be princess. So she orders shaman 녹영 (Nok Yeong) to kill 허연우 (Heo Yeon Woo). But she doesn't actually kill her and takes her out of the capital and loses her memories in the process. 
When they are adults, 허연우 (Heo Yeon Woo) as shaman 월 (Wol) is ordered to cure the prince, who is now king, played by 김수현 (Kim Soo Hyun), as he claims to be ill to stop the consummation with 윤보경 (Yoon Bo-Kyung), now played by 김민서 (Kim Min Seo), who became queen. 
One thing I found difficult to grasp was the sudden shift from the child actors to the adult actors in episode 6. I had just gotten used to the actors and their characters then it is messed up. It took me a few episodes to understand who is who as their titles changed.
