Dwell time – or the time motorists spend at installations staying to drop off or pick uploads – is one of the further vexing challenges for stakeholders across the force chain. Everybody wants to reduce dwell time because everyone feels the negative goods when freight schedules go amiss. Any time spent outside the distributed time calls for detention charges.
Detention is therefore used to neutralize the cost of a truck being detained at a shipper or receiver’s demesne. Port dwell time is the quantum of time that weight or vessels spend within a harborage. It's a crucial index of how efficiently a harborage is operating, how snappily weight is flowing through its outstations, and how long a boat is spending in harborage.

Redundant Charges:
