XREF 
AutoCAD supports interlibrary exchange of drawing information via the XREF command. XREF is a command similar to JDF or SXF. XREF is defined in the OS/400 Document-level Linked Information Environment (DLE) and Interlibrary Exchange Reference Management (IREFM) functions in an OS/400 database. XREF provides support for creating, modifying, and exchanging file-level, view-level, and drawing-level XREF links. This mechanism does not support internal drawing structures (charts, tables, properties) but only supports the external DATASOURCE, DESTINATION, CHILD, and LINK attributes.
DXF files can be read into VBA, allowing them to be manipulated in the same way as regular Microsoft Excel files. XREF can be used to convert between DXF and XAML formats.
A Microsoft Windows COM component was created that allows XREF information to be exposed to AutoCAD as an attribute on the drawing.

Does Websphere MQ (or IBM MQ) allows.Net client to send messages without being in the active queue manager?
I am creating a client-side application that needs to send messages to the same MQ queue but for different topics. 
To do this I had created a QueueConnectionFactory and created a connection to the QueueManager and from this connection I had created a Session and a QueueSession and was able to send messages to the queue. 
However I have not been able to find any information whether this is even possible. Is this possible at all and if so then can someone point me to an example or even the documentation that supports this. 
I was unable to find anything even on the IBM website.

Yes, the netMQ client will accept messages sent to a non-existent queue and queue manager.  You can verify this by having your.net client connect to the non-existent queue manager and send a message.  It will queue the message and will come back with a response.  I believe the netMQ client will generate a 'ChannelAlreadyExists' exception (or something similar) if a client tries to connect to a non-existent queue
