Welcome back! I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing break. We're so close to the end of the semester - let's end this on a strong note :)
Attendance form. I'll be on Google Meet for at least the first 15 minutes of class if you want to pop in with questions
Begin drafting your essay - I'd recommend making a copy of your outline and starting to flesh out your paragraphs. Your intro should explain what your topic is and why people are arguing over it. End with the antithesis-thesis statement. The conclusion should remind the reader of all of the points you made. Begin it by restating the antithesis-thesis 
Make sure you are citing EVERYTHING - it doesn't matter if you rephrased it. If you got the idea from someone else, give them credit. 
Due dates: Friday at 10 pm for C period and Thursday 10pm for D period

Next week begins the two "final exam" weeks. For week one, we'll be wrapping this essay up and creating a presentation for it. Week two will be the actual presentations. If you earn a grade that you're happy with on this draft, you can opt out of creating a final draft. You can also do your presentation early if you're ready for it (then you can focus on your other classes). So make this draft really strong! Double check the rubric. Ask me to look over it before you submit.
