AutoCAD History
In 1982, Autodesk released AutoCAD as the first commercial CAD application for personal computers. Though AutoCAD did not completely replace older desktop CAD programs, it attracted many users with its graphical user interface and powerful features.
Autodesk first showed AutoCAD at SIGGRAPH 1982. It became commercially available the following year, when the first full-price versions were sold.
Over the years, AutoCAD has gained many features and plugins, such as a plugin architecture for creating plug-ins.

1.2 - 1982
Autodesk introduced AutoCAD, its first computer-aided design program, at SIGGRAPH 1982. AutoCAD 1.2 was for desktop computers with 32-bit x86 processors. The first version to run on personal computers, 1.2 was designed to be the user's CAD program.
The menu bar was added to allow for easy access to all the drawing commands. The CAD Designer was first introduced to help users design.
1.2 also introduced a feature called DWG Viewer, which allowed users to view the structure and graphical content of the 3-D model.
The highlight of 1.2 was the development of an accurate, easy to read and edit drawing scale.
1.1.1 - 1983
After the release of 1.2, Autodesk released 1.1.1 to address some problems in version 1.2.
1.1.2 - 1983
AutoCAD 1.1.2 introduced a few minor improvements:

Desktop and mobile versions
Originally created for Windows computers, AutoCAD Crack For Windows was created to work with Microsoft's Windows operating system. AutoCAD models the "world" with a system of coordinate points, named "blocks". The three most common ways of handling these are through a left-handed coordinate system, a right-handed coordinate system, or an azimuthal, polar coordinate system. The default coordinate system used by Autodesk was and is the left-handed, right-handed, azimuthal polar coordinate system, first demonstrated in AutoCAD's "Photo Object", or "POINT," command.
 The coordinate system 
The coordinate system is divided into two separate but related units: the unit of length and the unit of angle. The unit of length is the decimal degrees, abbreviated as D.D. or D.D.M. The unit of angle is the degree, minutes, and seconds (DMS). The most common unit of length is feet, abbreviated as F.F. If the dimensions of the drawing are not given in this unit, they can be changed with the CNTL-D or CNTL-E keyboard shortcuts. The unit of angle can also be changed using the CNTL-D and CNTL-E keyboard shortcuts. The DMS angle system is the least common among CAD users, but a recommended standard for CAD systems.
