A: I believe the most powerful aspect of this definition is the 2nd statement - each learner is seen as having unbounded potential. Students all have potential for learning, and it is the teacher and education system's job to meet students where they are to unleash that potential. This means that learning is not going to look the same for all students, which is why it is LEARNER centered - it needs to center around EACH student, rather than a large group of students.

Each learner is seen as having an innate desire to learn and the job of the education system is to unleash that desire.
