As Noon Shift is a new school, initially it was noticed that most of the students were from different schools with average standard. Very few students attended the classes with their videos on. They hardly responded in the class.
To gain their confidence I always discussed different topics (other than academic) with them, encouraged them and tried to be friendly. Gradually they opened up and started sharing different things. Every year I get few students whom I cannot make talk. They would love to be quiet in the class.

Five minutes for quick recapitulation of previous day done topic helped the weak students to develop interest in the subject. I could see a lot of change in many students. Good students are always ready to answer. I noticed that average and weak ones are not lagging behind. Students who never answered in the beginning of this session are doing better now.
Revising important keywords related to the topics being done on a regular basis also helped students to pick up the content easily. I noticed that they feel very great and happy when they get a chance to use scientific terms.

I always start a new topic by saying 'It's an interesting topic and you are going to learn many scientific keywords'.
