Summer Reading Bingo

As we move into summer, we want students to build upon the skills they (and you!) worked so hard to develop throughout the year. This summer, we are challenging students to complete at least one row of the Summer Reading Bingo Board! To make a bingo, students must read five books in one row, column, or diagonal row. Students should mark their bingo board to show which reading activities they completed and document their progress by recording the titles and authors on the reading log. We ask that parents sign the Summer Reading Bingo Log and confirm their child has read the books. Students may turn in their completed Summer Reading Bingo Board and reading log to their school librarian in the fall. Students who complete at least one bingo and submit their Bingo Board and Reading Log will have their name entered into a drawing for prizes! Students may read whatever books they like this summer, as long as they are reading! We have included some suggested books for students - these are just suggestions! Book suggestions are for the rising grade levels. For example - students in 2nd Grade for 2020-2021 would read from the 3rd Grade list because they are rising 3rd graders. Don't forget to check out the Collierville Burch Library during the summer. They too will have a fun summer reading program! Finally, we are encouraging students to build a reading fort this summer and share their fort with students across our school district. Students can record a video of their fort in Flipgrid and share their favorite book they read this summer! Guest Password: Dragons2021
