Grasshopper is a Subversion reporting tool. Query your svn log and format output via plugins. This tool is most suitable to create a list of changes based on svn chekins.
It keeps track of all its edits in a separate files and creates a backup file every 48 hours. It uses svn-remote-upgrader to create upgrades. Both on start and when it's updated with a new version (hence the option to let it autoupdate). The installer is a simple exe that is quick and easy to set up. The main interface supports a LiveTree mode for the tree list with unlimited lines so you can add/delete as many branches as you want. All merge and copy/move operations will be displayed on the right of the tree so that you can see which branch is copied/merged from. The clone operation will also be displayed on the right. If you use a sub-folder for storing your branches, you can also have the history of the branch in the branch subfolder. If you have missing files or folders, you can easily navigate through the history to see which version you have. For each node, you can get the log of all the commits, the email on which the commit was made, the message, and the author.
It's main diff with other tools is the fact that it keeps a backup of your svn log file with all of its diffs. This makes it very fast to restore after a major crash. Another major difference with other subversion tools, is that it's an incremental backup. So if you just upload the file, it will use the old version and take it's diffs to the new version you will upload. If the upload fails because the version you tried to upload isn't newer than the one you are uploading (you must be uploading a new version) it will take the diffs you have in your backup folder to the new version you are uploading and make the changes. You can even clone an existing branch from the backup if you are going to make changes on this branch.
This software has been under development for more than a year now and has been tested on several servers and operating systems.
