Macon-Bibb Commission 10/11/22

Due to a minimal quorum, one "no" vote derailed Macon-Bibb County's Parks & Beautification Department's $145K contract with NaturChem for weed spraying on rights-of-way. The Commission did agree to move forward with a plan to repair roads and hire a surveyor to untangle right-of-way issues in downtown. The long-debated issue of renaming or designating a portion of Anthony Road for the late Ballard Hudson educator Robert Scott also was decided in the Oct. 11 Committee of the Whole.
