Defender of the Earth was made during the school year 2009-2010 with the intention of creating a school project. The goal was to create a complete game that takes place in a time where the human race has started to explore outer space. But while this game is unique in its graphical style, it is very reminiscent of another classic game where the player has a spaceship that he must fight countless robot enemies while avoiding environmental hazards.
The goal of the game is to collect as many points as possible in order to increase your score and escape the base. The universe is represented by a grid and the player has the ability to move around freely, moving up and down and even jumping between adjacent squares. Enemies are generally found in the middle of the map. Some appear on the terrain while others occupy ships that float on a given wave. The player has weapons at his disposal that can deal a certain amount of damage to the enemies. The score is displayed both at the bottom and on the top of the screen and can be increased by shooting the enemies. The way you shoot the ships and bullets is always revealed on screen, as well as the damage caused to the enemy. Certain enemies can be destroyed by touching them, while bullets can be shot as soon as they are in range. Shields, that can be placed on the terrain, protect ships and their contents from damage. They can be created by placing objects on the world. Bullets are also created by touching the objects and can be thrown with the left and right mouse buttons.
The game offers a full 4-player mode, both local and online. It allows players to create their own ships, weapons and shields, and play cooperatively.
Using the right mouse button, players can create new shields on the landscape. After creating them, players can use them to protect his own ships. Shields can be placed under stationary ships, or be thrown in a space where they stop and stay there. The shields can be filled by collecting small pieces of energy that appear during the game. The gameplay consists of simply jumping and exploring the stages, which are divided into 4 big maps.
The goal is to get as far as possible by overcoming the enemies.There are various traps like ledges, spikes, pits, moving walls, stairs and floors, all of which will bring you back down to the ground.
You can change the difficulty by collecting coins and using them to buy different bonuses.
Each puzzle can be solved by simply figuring out the logic of it.
The longer you can play, the more difficult the game will become.
Fobia Action and Adventure Game Walkthrough Guide Part 5
Welcome to Part 5 of the Fobia Game Guide. In the previous part of the game guide we have started to get an idea of the story.
There are also a few things that I would like to mention in this part of the Fobia Game Guide:
1. Open your Map to look for the Shop. Once you have found it, go to the upper right corner of your map to find an icon with an arrow pointing to the right.
2. Use the different icons on the shop to select what you want. In the upper left corner of your shop, there are different icons, in order from left to right:
B=Burnt
U=Unburnt
Y=Hidden
J=Janitor
O=Oriental
S=Supra
T=Parano
