"The ambassador has not sent the letter. We did not send it," said White House spokesman Jay Carney when asked on Friday about it.
The email was described by senior administration officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly, as containing details that would have made it an embarrassment if the Obama administration and the United Kingdom had been in disagreement about how long British Prime Minister Gordon Brown's visit to Washington this month would be delayed.
The official said that in the U.S. the last of the four or five outstanding issues at the end of the previous ambassador's tenure could be resolved in a matter of days.
The official said the Obama administration was not prepared to extend Brown's visit and then the prime minister started to question the timing of it.
The deadline has passed, the official said, and Brown has decided to come to Washington anyway.
One reason for the determination, the official said, is that Brown wanted to meet with President Barack Obama privately and informally before they met formally.
The official said that first they would have the opportunity to sit down and talk informally before meeting with the president and then they would have their formal meeting with the president.
One consequence of the delay is that British Foreign Secretary David Miliband will be not able to accompany Brown on his planned trip to Afghanistan, which was going to be a high-level meeting with President Hamid Karzai.
Brown has been traveling in Western Europe and the Middle East.
The official said that there is a three-and-a-half hour meeting between Obama and Brown scheduled at the White House on November 17 and then there will be a luncheon.

In Armored Warfare, the Pindad is a Tier 8 Premium AFV. It's main armament is an 8-barreled rocket launcher that fires three different types of rockets simultaneously. The Pindad is thus able to fire over and around obstacles, making it deadly in both offense and defense. The Pindad also features a cannon in each turret.
The Pindad' class of vehicles was designed for stealthy infiltration of enemy positions. It is very easy to drive, requires only average maintenance and is hard to detect with radar sensors.

Flexible and high-mobility
Transport
The Pindad has excellent transport capabilities. It can serve as the transport vehicle for infantry, engineer and repair vehicles. It can be used as a "bargain" in lite/medium and heavy tank sales, with an armored superstructure.
High-mobility
The Pindad's mobility is such that it can move quickly and reliably despite the limited firepower. The vehicles, especially the early variants, can even be used for ground assault.
Stability
The vehicle's balance of motion and weight ensures outstanding stability on various surfaces. This includes clear air or ground, frozen ground or just even sparsely covered ground.
Packet radio
The vehicle has a packet-oriented radio. This makes it possible to use different radio networks for different tasks and saves significantly on energy.
Armored superstructure
The Pindad has an armored superstructure, which makes it more difficult to destroy the vehicle from the sides.

Game Description:
Use aerial drones to locate enemy bunkers and fortifications. Hone your skills to decrease the time to find the target, so that no time is wasted on a mission failure.
Use drone and other AA to counter the enemy - You are responsible for the defense of your skies.
The 22nd infantry brigade of the Russian army has been forced to retreat from their positions in the Donbas region. Although they defended these regions for several months, they were completely overwhelmed. Now the main part of the brigade is retreating toward the Rostov-on-Don, while the rear part is still fighting to resist the enemy. In order to secure the area, the first battalion of the 5th armoured regiment was sent in to occupy and defend the region. However, the enemy managed to quickly pour an artillery barrage on the position and destroy this battalion.
It was then decided to send the second battalion of the 5th armoured regiment in order to relieve the first. However, the enemy was already in possession of most of the region, and they surrounded the military position. The commander of the task force decided to make an attempt to break out in order to escape the encirclement. However, they were completely exhausted and only one company managed to reach the start line. The objective of this task force was to reach the city of Shakhty and to destroy all enemy forces and fortifications, so that the main body of the brigade could pass safely.
Although the task force received good help from the local population, it was not able to break free. However, a relief column was able to break through the enemy encirclement and reach its destination, successfully escorting a large amount of tanks and vehicles.
The task force was disbanded shortly after this, in order to rest and then prepare for the defense of another region.
