After taking some time to reflect on these anxieties and make sense of them, I think about some of my most common advice I give to practitioners when doing I’m digital training and consider how I should be appyling that to myself:
1 - Learn from your students; How do they use digital in their day-to-day lives? What devices do they have? 
2 - Learn from your colleagues; How are they using digital in their learning spaces? Can you make screencasts to share with one another? Remembering that: "learning remains an essential part of maintaining expertise" (Ellaway, 2020, p199). 
3 - Play; spend some time in a sandpit space with your peers and colleagues to try things out. Try activities on different devices to check accessibility and usability.
4 - Share the load with your peers; share content you’ve created. Each explore one tool or approach then share with the group.
5 - EdTech and digital pedagogies are different yet interconnected. Knowledge of loads of platforms is not necessary to effectively embed digital literacies.
6 - If you feel overwhelmed at all the fantastic ideas and tools you’ve learned about, just choose 3 to focus on at a time (that could be a week, month or term) and see which one you make friends with (may not be all or even any of them…). Don’t be afraid to put things on the back burner if it’s not relative to your practice/ cohorts/ organisation right now.
