What is STEM? STEAM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics. Its idea is to show children that natural sciences are interconnected, to help them acquire knowledge in a broader perspective. Additionally, this model is designed to develop independent thinking in children, the ability to think cause and effect, and to draw conclusions from observations they have made. A child learns through practice and play, which very often stimulates the child's curiosity to an even greater extent and motivates them to continue.
