STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) or STE(A)M (where "A" refers to All non STEM subjects) uses real-world challenges within the educational context, which encourages and motivates students to work together to solve a problem that is of high priority to them and their community, and in doing so, supports long-term thinking and sustainable knowledge.
Space education includes learning about various aspects of space, including astronomy, astrophysics, space exploration, and space technology. Space education can be an exciting and engaging way to introduce students to STEM subjects. It offers a unique opportunity to integrate multiple STEM fields and provides a context for students to apply and understand various scientific concepts.
The aims of this project are to:

encourage students to think critically, use computational thinking and use their creativity to solve real-world problems
develop students' 21st-century skills: teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking, which are essential for success in the 21st century.
spark their curiosity about the universe and related space professions
encourage students to apply math, physics, biology, programming, and other STEM skills to real-world problems and make them realize how these skills are used in space exploration and other related fields
promote interdisciplinary learning by combining multiple STEM fields to provide a rich interdisciplinary learning experience.
demonstrate how knowledge from different fields can be interconnected and can be applied to solve complex problems.
encourage diversity and inclusivity as STEAM and Space education can motivate students from all backgrounds, especially girls, to pursue STEM careers.
raise awareness on the use of animals in science

At the end of the project, the students will:

be able to use basic commands of Python
understand Citizen Science and the role of clouds in Climate Change
understand how the sound quality can be enhanced with a parabolic antenna
learn about satellites, their components and the role of Earth Satellites
realize the size of a CubeSat and understand how the BBC Micro:bit sensors can be used to monitor light intensity
be able to describe space related professions
realize the role of women in space
reflect and debate on the use of animals in science
understand the use of mobile devices as portable laboratories
improve their collaboration, communication skills
