To begin to use this application, download it and go to the
‘Download’ tab in the Applications menu in the left pane of the screen. Then, double click on the ‘AODV Simulator Free Download 2.0.rar.’ file and it will be stored in the ‘Downloads’ folder in your download directory.
NOTE: This software is free, and does not contain any malware or other malicious coding. However, it does contain the full size of the application on your computer.
The application that you downloaded is compressed, so unpacking it is a requirement.
Once you download the application, you are ready to launch it.
As you can see, the screen looks like this.
In order to run the program you must right-click the application program icon in your ‘Start-up folder’ and then select ‘Run As Administrator’.
After the program starts you will be prompted for a Source and Destination address.
To begin, you can enter a source and destination address here.
If you select a source and destination, then you can enter a router IP here.

Note that when you are done, click the ‘Start’ button to begin simulating data.
Now, you can enter a source and destination, or select from the list of available sources and destinations.
Then, select one of the supported protocols and click on ‘Start’ to simulate the data.
If you select a protocol then you can enter the name for the link and the type of the protocol. The ‘Protocol’ list currently includes OSPF
