Ethos, Pathos, Logos: Insider Edition

The purpose of this essay is to inform readers on how effective rhetorical modes are, as well as to show readers how these rhetorical appeals are present in day to day life. The three modes mentioned are ethos, pathos and logos. There are six videos in total, two for each mode. These videos were carefully picked. Some have been seen and some came to mind while thinking of the best example for a certain mode. Most videos include more than one rhetorical mode to allow it to be fully persuasive and effective for the audience. Ethos, pathos, and logos are used everyday to get someone to buy a product, to convince a stranger to trust you, to teach someone something, to get a job, the possibilities are endless. Whether you're a student researching these modes for school or even someone looking for the best way to sell their product, rhetorical modes are super important.
