REFLECTION
I have learned from the Innovative Educator course ways that I can incorporate technology to not only increase student engagement but also that of parents and guardians. The students will have the opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned through the use of Flipgrid videos. My students, with assistance, can navigate and create Wakelet collections.
After taking this course, I am thinking more about how technology can be used with my students with special needs. I am thinking past their communication device usage and the usual visual supports. This course is making me think about how I can adapt the tools I have learned to use so that they will be accessible for all my students. I want the tools to not only be accessible but also purposeful.
