90s/00s Hip Hop

By Dean Aiello This project will cover what I believe to be the most memorable era of hip hop and music overall. I chose this genre and time in history because it continues to live on and receive a lot more attention than a majority of music. Everything about this era has shown a mastery in rhythm, grooviness, swag, and artistic ability. People say the Golden Age of hip hop took place during the 90s. This most certainly is true, but ignoring the early 2000s tracks as not being a part of that time in history would be insulting to the culture. A lot of artist that popped off in the early 2000s were in the industry during the 90s but were yet to release the bangers we would later see to cause a population of millions to remember them for years to come.
