In the Give One, Get One, Move On (GoGoMo) Method, students are asked to provide text-based evidence to a central idea, question, or claim. Then, they move around the room, giving one of their points or answers to a peer and then getting one back. Then, they move on and do the same with another peer. By the end of the class, each student should have a paper full of information/ideas/answers from the whole class. During this activity, the observations the teacher makes allow them to affirm student insights, highlight strong reasoning and text-based argument, identify misconceptions about the content and address them, and point out areas where students may want to reevaluate the connections they have made. 
GoGoMo allows students to interact with each other, practicing their listening, speaking, recording, communication, and organizational skills. This collaborative method can be used for almost any subject, for example as:
 a review of information (as in the video above), 
 a literary analysis tool- asking questions such a character development where students can provide examples from the test to make claims to answer the question
A tool to develop fact-based arguments for essays or debates
Making connections between historical/current events
Etc.
