Who is Alex Trebek?

America (and Canada) mourned the loss of "Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek on Nov. 8. The legendary game show host and TV personality had been welcomed into the homes of millions of people every weeknight since 1984. Trebek died at age 80 after a prolonged battle with pancreatic cancer, first announced in March 2019. All across social media, tributes began to pour in.
