Stop Covid 19 Let’s Fight Together

Hello, my name is Abdullah Shraydeh. My personal project aimed at raising awareness about the protection against Covid-19, as well as promoting protective measures and the importance of wearing masks at all time. The global context I chose was fairness and development. When the pandemic first spread in Jordan, I realized that many people cannot afford to buy masks and hygiene products. My objective was to make these products more accessible and raise awareness in my community about maintaining social distancing to help decrease the numbers of infected people in the Kingdom. Factories are considered as one of the places were Covid 19 can be easily transmitted, this is why I chose to focus my project efforts on a factory and a clinic. I also decided to create an Instagram account to increase the reach of my preventive messages. My final product was creating masks, brochures and posters, as well as an Instagram page to promote my objective. The masks were distributed at local organizations, Class Factory , and the Carewell Clinic. The masks were designed to be convenient, breathable, light weighted, and fashionable to be appealing to wear . The brochures and posters encouraged taking precautionary measures and raising awareness about the dangers of Covid 19.My products were also promoted on my Instagram page @raising_awarnes_covid19. Personally, my project made me feel productive and innovative. I realized how small initiatives can have a huge effect on the community. If this initiative was performed on a wider range of people, this will definitely help with decreasing the number of people affected by covid. The project was very challenging to complete, but I am proud of the end product, and that I was able to meet most of my criteria. Considering the circumstances of the pandemic and social distancing, I tried my best to make a change in my community. I realized how small initiatives can have a huge effect on the community.
