The ‘Diablo III: Reaper of Souls’ PC/PS4/XBox One Collector’s Edition is now available to order for $119.99.
Publishers and retailers had to arrange a special meeting of the minds between the PS4 and PC communities. So you’ll be interested to hear that the PS4 version won’t be available until March 24th, or if you’re really keen, February 26th (yes, there’s a day between the two).
The PC version will be available on March 24th.
The PC version (which will be available first for $59.99, though it will probably be on sale for less) will have all of the current content from the Diablo III Master Edition as well as its Curse of the Pharaohs and Classic versions of the expansion and it will come with a number of in-game bonuses.
The game itself will be an upgrade from the base Master Edition of Diablo III with its new free skill system and more, including new abilities and effects.
The loot and leveling system have been revamped to allow players to pick up drops and items for a variety of different builds, enabling a wider variety of playstyles.
The new build system also takes into account your exact playstyle and encourages players to try out a variety of builds, gear and character types.
The new content will include new class quests, new enemies, new skills, bosses, and new areas to explore and loot.
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls will also see the return of the Inferno difficulty mode, a new character specialization system and (we’re assuming) a few new characters to choose from.
All of this content is free for owners of the base game. You’ll get the other stuff on the Collector’s Edition for a fee.
There’s no word on pricing for that yet, but it won’t be cheap.
