I’m grateful to everyone who supported my election to the LSC Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees is the only source of money that the college has to support its mission, which is to increase enrollment and financial aid through excellence in teaching, with a focus on students of color.
I believe that the students and the people of the community need an educational institution that can afford to be a center of learning, a fair and just institution of higher education, and a place of peace in a school district that is overwhelmingly black and brown.
The students at this great college need schools that can prepare them to succeed in a society that is shifting, and people of color are the ones who feel the effects of this change most acutely.
Lone Star College’s mission is a good one. The resources at this college are vital to the success of the many students of all races in our community. I believe that the college can make a difference in the lives of thousands of students.

DSK SF2 
The SoundFont technology has been designed to enable users to modify their MIDI files by using sample-based synthesis. However, MIDI documents contain no sounds, but only rendering instructions. SoundFont banks that contain custom audio samples can be used to render music by using an appropriate SoundFont player. Some SoundFont files are supported by the built-in sounds of DSK. However, the built-in sounds are in mono mode. When SoundFont is in the standard mode, this plugin can help users play their SoundFont songs in stereo.
SoundFont banks, which are the same as DSK SF2 objects, are created on a computer and then copied into the plug-in data folder. You can load multiple banks and share them.
DSK SF2 provides several improvements compared to DSK:

The DSK SF2 plug-in uses a dedicated page to display the bank. Bank playback also contains an overview of the type of sample chosen and an interactive graphics window that includes both the current and previous notes. Every sound bank consists of multiple pages which, when playing, can be accessed by pressing the Page Up and Page Down keys.
16 windows
Because DSK SF2 supports 16 windows, the DSP window lets you switch the current MIDI channel and the Bass window lets you switch to an alternative Bass loop. The Volume window displays the current LFO volume and intensity. In the Multimode window, you can choose the type of mode you want to use for the filter. The LFO speed is displayed in the LFO window.

With its built-in factory presets, DSK SF2 can help users convert their sound banks and render new songs with a variety of sounds. The plug-in supports SF2 and WAV formats.
