Why is my C# ASP.Net MVC 4.5 web app crashing on iis8?
I have an C# ASP.Net MVC web app (4.5 framework) that runs fine locally.  As soon as I publish the app to IIS, it starts serving up 500 internal server errors, and quickly crashes.  The app relies heavily on Entity Framework to perform some data processing.  I am hosting the app on an IIS8 server with Windows Server 2012 R2 running as the operating system.  Windows Service and all files are set to run as Network Service.  My hosting company claims to have their own remote debugging tool, but I can't tell if it is working or not.

This was due to an extraneous entity configuration.  When I ran the app locally via Visual Studio, the correct entity configuration was configured.  When I run it through an IIS server, it apparently used a different configuration.  
When I changed the configuration name to match the configuration used on the local machine, the issue went away.  The correct configuration was in this code: 
EntityConfiguration entityConfiguration = Configuration.GetEntityConfiguration();
