Application for LMETB Sponsorship of Course Fees: TEL courses in National College of Ireland

We are inviting applications from FET Staff who wish to avail of LMETB sponsorship of course fees on TEL-related courses at Levels 6 and 7 with National College of Ireland (NCI). Courses start in September 2022. 
Applications will be assessed and LMETB will sponsor the course fees of a limited amount of staff to attend. Successful staff will be provided with a confirmation of sponsorship letter and directions on how to apply for the course.  Receiving sponsorship from LMETB does not guarantee a place on the course, staff must still ensure to apply directly to NCI.
If interested, please submit applications for course fee sponsorship by 1pm on Friday 20th May 2022. Late applications will not be accepted.

1-      Level 6: Certificate in Learning and Technology (12 weeks)

Updated Course: The Certificate in Learning and Technology has now two new additional strands for FET practitioners: 
Instructional Design: Whilst maintaining the same award title and same learning outcomes, this additional strand will have supplementary activities that focus on supports for initial instructional designers. In this strand students will experience elements such as course authoring, gamification, prototyping, multi-device learning, augmented reality. 
 Student Support: Whilst maintaining the same award title and same learning outcomes, this additional strand will have supplementary activities that focus on student-centred supports for practitioners who support learners in Primary, Post-primary, Further and Higher Education.
