ACADEMIC AWARDS: TYPES AND DESCRIPTIONS

Please recognize students for their Academic Excellence and Distinguished Achievement in your subject and grade level. You will be communicating your selections with the team leader.
You may recognize ONE student in each category for each class you teach (each cohort) for a total of 6 students acknowledged per grade level.
1) Academic Excellence = highest numeric grade in the section (one per cohort)-- OBJECTIVE
2) Distinguished Achievement= students who stand out and/or have risen up in hard times-- etc. -- SUBJECTIVE
