Heart and Slash is a fun and addictive first-person shooter for PC, Mac, Linux, and as a standalone Windows app. 4/5 Game InformGame controls are pretty responsive and the bullet speeds are varied and excellent. The game makes some good use of the mouse and I especially like the light blur effect.1/5 IGN
This is a work of art in a different form, a beautiful vessel for a superb art and sound combination, but one that still ends up being only a shell for a half-developed game.
From the surface, Heart and Slash appears to be a futuristic shooter with many references to other games and genres. When it comes down to it, this game is closer to Mirror's Edge or Bayonetta in its art style and gameplay. This isn't a bad thing, but it's not something you will likely see on a game's cover or put on your game's box art.5/5 GameSpot
