On average, Roblox generates over $5 million per month in revenue, with 61% of its revenue coming from freemium and other paid content. The company is profitable. Roblox was the fastest growing company in California in 2017, according to List/US, the largest consumer data company. In May 2018, the company surpassed 21 million registered users, and in July 2018, it surpassed 27 million. The most popular video game on Roblox is Minecraft, while the most popular in-game item is a hat with a "Y" on the side.
