Overview
AutoCAD Activation Code, available for multiple platforms, enables users to design 2D, 3D and 4D drawings. Using point, line and polyline tools, they can draw and edit shapes, dimensions, text and dimensions, and generate a variety of 2D drawings.

History

AutoCAD is an acronym for Automatic Computer-Aided Design. AutoCAD Modeling

AutoCAD 2009 introduced direct touch-screen interface, allowing users to perform drawing operations by simply touching icons, tools, and drawing objects. AutoCAD 2013 introduced the AutoCAD Touch System, an extension to this, which adds the ability to perform drafting activities in a web browser on a tablet or smart phone. AutoCAD 2014 further enhanced the Touch System's functionality by incorporating handwriting recognition and high-speed 3D digital scanning, as well as voice recognition and spoken drawing commands, so that users can work effectively with AutoCAD on small form factor touch devices.

 3D Drawing features 
AutoCAD is designed to support 3D drawing, producing drawings that do not require further processing to create 2D drawings, such as rendering to PDF or publication. Drawings in AutoCAD can be saved as 3D DWG (3D and 2D) or 3D MDB (3D and 2D) files.
AutoCAD supports both free-form 3D and model-based 3D, and provides commands for converting between the two.
The 3D modeling features of AutoCAD are similar to the 3D modeling features of other CAD software. Freeform 3D (based on direct manipulation) does not have predefined geometry, unlike model-based 3D, and therefore allows the creation of any 3D object.
AutoCAD supports 3D modeling and drawing with a 2.5D representation, which is viewed as flat from a certain distance. One advantage of a 2.5D representation is that it can be used with a regular 2D drawing. AutoCAD also supports 2.5D drawings where the 2.5D elements are treated as 2D surfaces.
