Usman has defended his title three more times since that fight, beating Jorge Masvidal twice and also stopping Gilbert Burns. Covington only has fought once since the loss to Usman, beating former welterweight champion Tyron Woodley via TKO. Also on the card, Weili Zhang rematches Rose Namajunas for the women's strawweight championship. Namajunas ended Zhang's title reign earlier this year, scoring a TKO after landing a huge head kick in the first round.
