Each of us has some dreams, for all of us are dreamers. Some give their lives to achieve their dreams – work relentlessly till they have achieved what they have set out to do. Some are happy with whatever they achieve, even if it is a minuscule percentage of what they had dreamed for. Here is the story of Sarah Lazow, a woman who dared to dream and put in her focused efforts to achieve the same. 
Sarah's family had nothing to do with Hollywood or films, but she had also wanted to be a part of the glamour world. When she did get the opportunity to become a part of Hollywood, she chooses to become a producer and a financier. From the very beginning, she knew that she wanted to be behind the camera, or let's say; she wanted to be in complete charge of a movie rather than playing a small role in the entire filmmaking process. Thus, a new league of film and TV producers was born.
 
What makes her life story interesting and noteworthy is that she chose to venture into a man's world. Film production and financing have been typically the realm of men, with very few women in Hollywood venturing into those alleys. Sarah Lazow was not the one to be distracted or discouraged from her heart's calling. She opened her production house called Marada Pictures soon after entering Hollywood. As a financier or a producer, she has a very critical role to play. Ensuring that the story fits with the ideologies of her production house to the selection of the entire film crew and actors is a challenging task. She also needs to ensure no compromises are made with the plot or the characters due to lack of funds. 
 
Shows and movies from Marada Production
The first movie from Marada was The Weekend. The plot, characters, and the director were all Black with a humorous take on life. It was written and directed by Canadian writer-director Stella Meghie, and the movie had big stars playing the central characters. Sasheer Zamata was the main protagonist playing a stand-up comedian while Tone Bell played her ex-boyfriend. The film also stared DeWanda Wise and Bell's current girlfriend and Kym Whitley. Sarah Lazow planned a grand opening for her first movie, which is why she took it to the Toronto International Film Festival for a premiere in 2018. The Weekend received appreciative reviews from all over – Sarah had arrived. Later, n 2019, when the movie was released in theatres across the US, it was well accepted by the audience. 
 
Her second foray into the entertainment world was as an executive producer to a TV series. It was V-Wars, which was a sci-fi series. Jonathan Maberry directed starring Ian Somerhalder, Peter Outerbridge ad Adrian Holmes, the Netflix Original series. The first season ran successfully for four months, from December 2019 to March 2020. With these two productions, Sarah became a household name in the US and has ever since been hailed for her superior work as a film and TV producer.
