I have worked on teams all my life, from highly specialized small teams to big groups trying to get a job done quickly. The greatest struggle I have faced so far within the Global Summit is organizing a team over the internet. My team quickly founded out that communicating via email was not good enough to produce quality work. The solution to this was developing a plan that would facilitate effective communication; This in itself carried its own difficulties because it was still difficult to get five working adults to attend zoom meetings.
For me, this was deeply concerning because I take organizational structure very seriously. In both my academic and professional fields I have found that making schedules and have the discipline to stick to them results in success. Creating structure is one of my specific strengths this is archived through effective leadership and communication. I understand that acting in line with how I speak goes a long way in earning the respect of my team; Therefore the aim is to foster an environment where respect is the channel we communicate on.
