i used to play with this quite a bit. hope you enjoy my changes to the code. some of the best points of the script are the effects and character faces being made into overlays. I hope you like them too. hope you see what i did to the effects and character models. i reworked the way the headgear acts.
Hey Andrew. Just wanted to say thanks for the script and also to post this ( that gives a pretty decent idea on how it might be done. I'm in the market for a good low-budget 3d for a buddy who is having a'message from the future' themed party (he's crazy :P).
I'm trying to get a handle on what the most important settings are for a good rendering as I really don't understand what they are and why. I've been seeing some awesome video examples with lots of objects and I'm curious as to what the best settings are to achieve that level of detail without any artifacts. I'm not having much luck with the settings I've been using (v.2).
Also, it seems like you're all using a GTX 400 series GPU and I'm using a 4870, and my PC is pretty decent, but my efforts in an attempt to render this video have been unhelpful. Could you try something on your machine so I can see what it takes?
