iZotope have released another version of their popular and powerful audio fx plug-in, Digital Vinyl, and a new release of their 'Lombard' Delay plug-in for the Windows platform.
The Virtual studio technology has been updated for the 64-bit version of Windows and Mac OS X. The new audio unit incorporates a plug-in host based architecture that is separate from the host applications used for sampling audio and MIDI, as well as editing audio and MIDI files, offering much greater stability and reliability.
iZotope has released a new version of the Sansa Connect software for the Mac OS X platform. Sansa Connect 1.5 includes compatibility with the new 64-bit operating system, which allows greater stability and reliability.
The new 64-bit audio unit architecture is implemented in iZotope’s Duende Audio Editor and Cross-Platform Sampler, as well as the Compressor, Equalizer, Compressor/Limiter and Universal Audio Analyser plug-ins.

The three-dimensional polydopamine (3D-PDA) nanofiber coating of nanocrystalline cellulose (NCC) fiber scaffolds with a porous structure is achieved, for the first time to our knowledge. The 3D-PDA coating not only improves the flexibility and interconnectivity of NCC fiber, but also reinforces it. The introduction of PDA layers produces a better compatibility between the NCC and SiO2-ZrO2 fiber, as confirmed by thermogravimetric analysis and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The formation mechanism of the 3D-PDA nanofiber coating is discussed. The formation of the coating can be divided into two stages: PDA monomer polymerization and PDA coating. The preparation process is very simple and practical, and can be easily performed in a commercial factory. After coating, the surface wettability is obviously improved, and the tensile strength is reinforced. These results show that this method is promising for the functionalization of NCC fiber.
