MONDAY:  "Energy Transformations" 
TRANSFER-BOTS Project (Day 2)
INSTRUCTION:
I can define energy and list different forms of energy
I can make observations to provide evidence that energy can be transferred from place to place by sound, light, heat, and electric currents. 
I can apply scientific ideas to design, test, and refine a device that converts energy from one form to another.   Refine a device that converts energy from one form to another.
PRACTICE:
1. VIDEO:  reintroduce different forms of energy
2. DIRECTIONS:  reintroduce "Energy Robot Project" and give directions 
3. WRITING RUBRIC:   discuss Transfer-bot Writing using the "Hooked on Writing" process:  
BAIT:  (Define) energy transformations.
SET:  (Answer the Question)  Does your robot include 3 energy transformations?
FEED:  (Detail) Give first transfer detail. 
FEED:  (Detail) Give second transfer detail.
FEED:  (Detail) Give third transfer detail. 
*Use at least one citing evidence with a feed (According to my illustration, ...)
CATCH IT:  (Conclusion) Write a conclusion beginning with a transition.
4.WRITING:  On Energy Robot Project Template paper, write a paragraph explaining how their robot demonstrates at least 3 different forms of energy
