The age of the victims ranged from 12 to 61 years. During the first weekend shootout in Calumet Heights on Friday night, two women were shot while standing in the street. The shooting took place at 2000 East 91st Street at around 6:12 PM. Police said two women, aged 20 and 37, were on the street when they were shot by an unidentified man. A 20-year-old man was shot in the back and was transferred to the University of Chicago Hospital in good condition. A 37-year-old man was injured in his left leg and was also transferred to Trinity Hospital in satisfactory condition. Later that evening, a 12-year-old boy was shot dead while walking in Garfield Park. The shooting occurred on 900 South Albany Avenue off Artington Street in Lawndale at 8:35 PM. Police said a 12-year-old boy was walking down the sidewalk when someone in a gray sedan opened fire. The boy was taken to the Stroger. Cook County Hospital is in critical condition with gunshot wound to the chest. Less than 20 minutes later, a 16-year-old boy was shot dead while walking down an alley in the eastern part of the city. Police said the boy was walking in block 3500 East 106th Street around 8:50 pm when he heard gunshots and felt pain. He was taken to Trinity Hospital in satisfactory condition with a bullet wound to his leg. A 16-year-old boy died Saturday in Chicagos West Side. He and the 13-year-old girl were at the playground behind Chalmers Elementary School in Douglas Park around 8:20 pm. when two unidentified people got out of the dark sedan and started shooting. The attackers got into the car and escaped. The boy took one stab in the back. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A 13-year-old boy, who was also nearby, received two blows to the neck. She was taken to the Stroger Hospital, where on Saturday evening her condition was assessed as satisfactory.
