Hello! 
I've been taking up Art Appreciation course for about 145 days already. We started on creating a Wakelet where we introduced ourselves to get to know each other. That was my first time using the website and at first, it was somewhat complicated for me but I still managed to finish it. Our professor then tasked us to have an artwork hunting on our house and tell something about it, I found an oil painting on canvas! Next, we did a coffee painting where the subject should be about advocacy, mine is Women Empowerment! I made 2 outputs where the first one failed since I had a hard time controlling the shades of the coffee. I was quite impressed with my photo appropriation, I didn't expect the outcome with just a few touches of editing, it already looked like the original painting. We also had a group activity wherein we would create a virtual exhibit of a specific GAMABA artist. Then, we had a totem sculpturing activity that should represent our family, my totem is a turtle. Next is our black-out poetry activity where we used an old book, newspaper, or magazine to create a poem by blacking out unnecessary words. Our last activity for this semester on this course is weaving, we used recycled material in weaving, I used magazine.
